BiB - Ariel in Bright Blue Denim overalls
The first pair of overalls Ariel took from the stack was a pair of light denim overalls with zippers and buttons on both side of the waist, and a broad bib. The nice thing of the zippers is that close the sides better, leaving no gaps, and the buttons make it easy to put padlocks on. I wasted no time adding those, and since the overalls were a close fit, there was no chance Ariel would be able to pull them down anymore.

I had prepared these overalls by adding eyelets to the bib. Because this bib is so wide, the straps attach far to the sides, which makes it easier for her to pull them off her shoulders. By attaching the straps more towards the middle, that became harder. Using the eyelets gave me the chance to try out my Segufix locks (used in medical restraints, with a magnetic key) to attach the straps to the bib, hoping that the black buttons are less conspicuous when used in public. Unluckily the posts from Segufix are rather long, which spoiled the effect a bit. (Naturally I'd sewn the straps to a fixed length, so that Ariel's attempts to lengthen the straps by opening the buckles did not succeed.)
Ariel still managed to slide the straps off her shoulders, but I was prepared for that too, and attached both straps to the center hole, which defeated any further attempts to escape.

Later, when we went to get lunch at a nearby supermarket, I let Ariel choose which overalls she would like best to wear in public, and these were her favorites. This time without the locks though.
